Fremont Substation G Expansion

Thompson Construction successfully completed the construction of three transformer foundations at two substation locations in Fremont, Nebraska. The scope of work included substation expansion featuring the installation of new duct systems, varying concrete foundations, fence expansion, and vault structures. Substation work demands precise placement of all materials, and our team was up to the challenge, delivering great results.

Industrial Storm Sewer Repair

In 2023 Thompson Construction took on a Storm Sewer repair in Papillion, NE. The task was to repair and replace an old 48” concrete pipe storm sewer line. Over the years with erosion the pipe became exposed and washed out. The job included surveying and some in house engineering to not only fix the line but also ensure its longevity. It included clearing brush and trees along with re-grading the area with swales and ditches for better water control.

The Hill

In 2022, Thompson Construction completed an SID called The Hill located at 168th and State in Omaha, NE. A project that included various depths of 6” and 8” sanitary pipe. It included 46 manhole installations and sewer services for 160 new home lots. One of Thompson Constructions’ larger sanitary installations.

Substation 3761 (WIZARD)

In 2019, Thompson Construction completed a portion of OPPD Substation 3761 located on 150th & Schram Road. The project included over 2,500 feet of duct pipe, 11,000 feet of grounding cable, 46 pier foundations, and 6 large concrete foundation structures.
